Lean Thinking is an attitude of mind and aims to achieve a flow of services that delivers
exactly what the customer needs, precisely when and where they want it and at the lowest possible cost.

Through the principles of “Lean Thinking”, teams are focussed on taking responsibility to understand “purpose” and “economies of flow” within the delivery system. This will develop knowledge to remove waste and to reduce variation in the system as a whole, from beginning to end.

• What demands do customers place on the delivery of service?
• What is done that adds value?
• What waste exists in the system?
• How can the capability of the system be improved for the benefit of the customer?

In conjunction with , we will utilise the principles of Lean Thinking and work with the whole delivery team to remove waste by streamlining flows of information or materials, matching supply exactly to demand, maximising process flexibility and resilience, and minimising variability.
